Privacy Policy

Last revised: 27 July 2026 · SuperPrinters Pvt Ltd · GST 27ABSCS1128F1Z7

Aligned to India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

1. Who We Are

SuperPrinters Pvt Ltd ("SuperPrinters," "we") is the Data Fiduciary responsible for personal data processed through superprinters.in.

2. What We Collect

CategoryExamples
Identity & contactName, company, email, phone, address
Business verificationGST number, PAN, verified legal name (via our payment partner's ID-verification service)
Account contentCatalogue listings, reviews, used-machinery listings, chat messages, Vault contributions
Usage dataPages visited, searches, chat interactions, device/browser info
Payment dataHandled entirely by our payment gateway partner — we never store your card/UPI details ourselves

3. How We Collect It

Directly from you (registration, chat, forms), automatically (cookies and usage analytics — see our Cookie Policy), and from third parties you choose to connect (Google Sign-In, Google Places for address autofill).

4. Why We Process It

  • To operate your account, SuperPage, and dashboard.
  • To power AI chat discovery, matching, and (with your consent) semantic search over content you contribute. A chat conversation that shows genuine buying intent may itself be shared, as a lead, with a matched seller — the same way an Express Interest click or a posted requirement already is — without a separate confirmation step for each conversation.
  • To understand what you are looking for. We record which categories you open, how long you spend on them, how far you read, and whether you come back to the same one on a later visit — against your account where you are signed in. This builds a picture of the categories you are interested in and how strongly, which is used to match you to relevant sellers. We record the category and the time, never the words you type; chat is recorded only as which category a message was about, never its content.
  • To verify business identity (GST/PAN) for trust and fraud prevention.
  • To process payments, memberships, and issue GST-compliant invoices.
  • To send transactional emails (OTP, invoices, lead notifications) and, where you've opted in, product updates.
  • To detect fraud, abuse, and enforce our Terms.

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell personal data. We share limited data with service providers strictly to operate the Platform:

Vercel / RailwayApplication hosting

We may also disclose data if required by law, court order, or a valid government request, or to protect the rights/safety of SuperPrinters and our users (including fraud investigations — see Report a Fraud).

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes — typically 7 years, consistent with Indian tax record-keeping requirements. You may request earlier deletion, subject to Section 8.

7. Cross-Border Transfer

Some service providers listed above may process data on servers located outside India. Where this occurs, we rely on the providers' own data-protection commitments and, where applicable, standard contractual safeguards.

8. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act

  • Access — request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction & erasure — request correction of inaccurate data or deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (see Terms of Service §11); if unresolved, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
  • Nominate — nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g. marketing emails) at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at children under 18, except for the Student role, which requires institutional verification.

10. Security

See our Security Policy for the technical and organizational measures we use to protect your data.

11. Changes to this Policy

We will update this policy as our practices evolve and indicate the date of the last revision above.
